What You'll Do As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you will:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate residents of varying abilities
- Valid driver’s license for operating community vehicles as scheduled
Nice To Haves
- Previous life enrichment or activities experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with and lead group activities, special events, outings, and one-on-one engagement
- Encourage and motivate residents to participate in meaningful, person-centered activities
- Post and maintain weekly activity schedules and record resident participation
- Provide individualized support to residents based on interests, abilities, and needs
- Follow the household model and person-centered care practices
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to plan, evaluate, and improve programming
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and volunteers
