About The Position

Are you passionate about enriching the lives of seniors? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Life Enrichment Coordinator to bring creativity and joy to our residents' daily experiences! Mirabella is home to more than 370 residents who have access to a wide array of amazing amenities and care services. As part of the continuum of care, Mirabella has a 21 bed Skilled Unit and a 20 bed memory care unit located on the second floor – both serve both existing residents and the Tempe community at large. Our residents have access to highly personalized care with 21 Private Suites/Bathrooms and a newly constructed environment (Completed in August 2020)! Your role includes supporting volunteers and leading holistic activity programs that align with our person-centered care philosophy, ensuring a high level of care and engagement.

Requirements

High school diploma
Two (2) + years of experience working with older adults, in long-term care, recreation, or activities programming
CPR and First Aid certification
Finger Print Clearance Card
State/National Activities Professional certification — such as: Certified Activity Director (ADC) or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)

Nice To Haves

Some college or degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Education, or related field
