About The Position

Life Enrichment Aide - (Full-Time) Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30PM Days of The Week: Monday - Friday, One Saturday Every 5th Week Unmatched care environment! As a Life Enrichment Aide, you – Will lead small and large group activities with our residents Assist nursing staff with resident needs Provide residents with leisure life enrichment items and activities that meet their needs Build long lasting relationships with residents and help provide them with social and emotional support

Requirements

• Must be compassionate and hard working
• Willing to work independently and able to communicate with the geriatric population
• Knowledge of the residents needs for activity, organizational ability, manual dexterity and flexibility required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sensory stimulation, recreational therapy, music, and/or creative activities with the geriatric population is preferred
• Completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant course or passing the State Nursing Assistant exam for Certification as well as the CNA listing on the State and Federal Registry preferred
• Computer skills strongly preferred
