About The Position

The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns/manage numerous World-Class Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, Specialty Care Centers and Assisted Living Communities throughout Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. We are looking to fill a key position, Licensure and Certification Analyst. The position will oversee State Level Facility Licensure, CLIA, Controlled Substance, Food, OH TDDD (Terminal Distribution for Ohio Oxygen), Salon Licensure, Maryland County nursing home licenses required for DC. The position will be based at our Blue Ash, (Suburb of Cincinnati) Ohio office. Hybrid – 3 days in office 2 days remote. As a CommuniCare employee you will enjoy competitive wages and PTO plans. Requirements

  • Must have strong Microsoft skills with advanced Excel knowledge
  • Licensing renewal experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal experience/certification a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • File quarterly sales and use tax for our legal entities
  • Research guidelines and apply for Medicaid and Medicare provider numbers
  • Assist in gathering information needed for new acquisitions
  • Guide nurse practitioners and doctors to obtain their individual Medicare numbers
  • Revalidate Medicare and Medicaid provider accounts upon due dates
  • Update Medicare accounts for nursing homes due to changes in Administrators and Directors of Nursing
  • Process nursing home license renewals, county nursing home license renewals, food and salon license renewals, and controlled substance license renewals upon expiration dates for multiple states
  • Update licenses due to DBA name changes
  • Manage Medicaid errors due to billing issues for multiple states
  • Create new NPI numbers for newly acquired nursing homes, Telehealth, and Psych hospitals
  • Make corrections to information on nursing home licenses and Medicare accounts
  • Set up and make changes to billing information for Medicare and Medicaid accounts
  • Perform OIG Exclusion Screening needed for billing new vendors
  • Process change of information applications for nursing home licenses, Medicare, and Medicaid due to acquisition of new nursing homes
  • Renew and make changes to CLIA certificates for nursing homes
