A Licensing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all corporate, joint-venture, and individual licenses are obtained, maintained, and renewed accurately and on-time. They will support company-wide compliance with contractor licensing requirements across multiple states, entities, and project types. The Licensing Specialist must have superb communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience interpreting state statutes, administrative rules, and licensing board guidelines.
  • Familiarity with contractor licensing requirements for construction firms, including multi-state operations.
  • Experience supporting licensing for multiple business entities, including joint ventures.
  • Knowledge of Secretary of State registration processes
  • Experience with engineering firm COAs
  • Experience with international or territorial licensing
