We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in our Redding, CA location. PRN Role! Earn $33/Hour. The LVN provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and ensures implementation of physician orders, coordination of medical appointments, and continuity of care for individuals with complex medical needs. This is a structured, team-based environment where nurses are supported and empowered to deliver high-quality care. The position is responsible for overall medical needs of assigned individuals in our Intellectual Developmental Disability residential programs. Requirements

  • Active LVN license in good standing
  • Current driver's license.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Valid California LVN license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care, developmental services, or skilled nursing preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, seizure activity, skin integrity, and overall health status
  • Provide skilled nursing care within LVN scope of practice
  • Schedule and coordinate routine and specialty medical appointments
  • Ensure medical documentation accompanies residents to appointments
  • Receive, process, and implement physician orders promptly and accurately
  • Track follow-up appointments, labs, and referrals to ensure completion
  • Maintain accurate MARs and clinical documentation
  • Report changes in condition to RN and medical providers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies
