About The Position

Crestwood is looking for individuals passionate about behavioral health and helping others on their recovery journey. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct nursing care to clients in accordance with physicians’ orders and client care standards, operating within their scope of practice. This role also involves directing non-licensed personnel in client care and unit operations. The Crestwood Fallbrook Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) in Northern San Diego County, facilitates successful reintegration through various methods including classes, therapy, community service, and peer mentorship.

Requirements

Current licensure in California as RN, LVN, or LPT
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
Ability to supervise
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members
Current CPR and first aid certifications

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred

Responsibilities

Provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice
Provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit
