About The Position

Crestwood is looking for individuals passionate about helping others along their recovery journey in a meaningful behavioral health role. For over 50 years, Crestwood has been dedicated to creating innovative recovery programs and compassionate communities that support clients in their journey, focusing on a personal and self-directed process to empower individuals and help them develop skills to thrive. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will also provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. Crestwood Fallbrook Healing Center is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) located in Northern San Diego County, in Fallbrook, where successful reintegration is accomplished through various modalities including classes, therapy, community service, and peer mentorship.

Requirements

Current licensure in California as RN, LVN, or LPT
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
Ability to supervise
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members
Current CPR and first aid certifications

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred

Responsibilities
