About The Position

Licensed Surgical Veterinary Technician - Anesthesia Our surgical team at Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists is rapidly growing and we are looking for a talented and motivated Surgery and Anesthesia Technician to join us. Work with brilliant and caring board certified surgeons Be a part of a team of technicians and surgeons that have a positive and engaged culture Provide high quality patient care Place arterial and central lines, urinary catheters, and NG Tubes Administering local and regional anesthesia Perform critical care anesthesia to include mechanical ventilation and TIVA Surgical preparation Client interaction and education during initial consultations and dismissals Bandage application and changes Do you love being a surgical assistant on the following types of cases?: Orthopedics and Arthroscopy Regular and complex soft tissue Interventional radiology Oncologic We are looking for an LVT, VTS or an LVT on track to become a VTS in anesthesia . Requirements

LVT with at least 4 years of experience in a specialty surgery and anesthesia setting and having knowledge about specialty surgical procedures, surgical assisting experience, instrumentation knowledge, and being able to independently run up to level 5 ASA anesthesia cases.
Veterinary Technician License required
