Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with advanced procedures, including surgery and anesthesia monitoring
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, cytology, and radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments in accordance with state regulations
- Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
