Requirements

  • Technical School Diploma LPN Program
  • 3 years experience in a clinical environment.
  • General knowledge of infection control principles.
  • Ability to administer vaccines.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft office.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Participates in annual influenza vaccination programs or other emergent and non-emergent programs including off-site clinics, shifts, and education to all staff.
  • Provides client care according to professional standards and employee health protocols.
  • Assesses colleagues for basic fitness for duty and return to work criteria.
  • Assists and informs M.D. of pertinent information when necessary to ensure a complete and valid exam.
  • Coordinates prescribed therapies and consulting physician appointments for optimal outcome and minimal impact on home and work life.
  • Determines OSHA recordability of injuries/illnesses and enters OHSA-related data into occupational health system.
  • Documents efficacy of treatments and offers suggestions when treatment not effective.
