Lake Prince Woods is an award-winning, full-service continuing care retirement community seeking a dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their skilled nursing team on a 40-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. The LPN will provide skilled nursing resident care activities and accommodation services under the direction of an RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance with standards, regulatory guidelines, license requirements, and company policies and procedures. The LPN is also responsible for meeting, maintaining, and supporting the standards of nursing care and practice to address the healthcare needs of assigned residents.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience
- Current Nursing License
- CPR certified
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year skilled nursing facility experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing resident care activities and accommodation services in accordance with standards, regulatory guidelines and license requirements
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Meet, maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the healthcare needs of assigned residents
