About The Position

The Wellness Nurse, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), provides direct nursing care to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness. This role also involves supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants. The position is part-time, under 30 hours per week, with available shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current LPN license
Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years’ experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred
