About The Position

Licensed Practice Nurse needed at a rapidly growing medical practice that currently has five (5) offices: Two (2) Pediatric Offices between Jasper and Canton and Four (4) Medical Offices with Med Spas, between Jasper, Canton, Roswell, and Rome. We plan to open our newest location in Woodstock in March 2026! Between these locations we currently have 26 Medical Providers (a combination of MDs, NPs, & PAs). Our practice has been rapidly growing over the past 22 years and has plans in place for additional providers to join us in February 2026 along with additional locations to open in the future to further our growth! The ideal candidates must be willing to work at all of our Pediatric locations (Jasper, Canton, & Woodstock).

Requirements

  • Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree from an accredited program with an active state license
  • A minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a Pediatric clinical setting
  • Must be willing to work at our Jasper and Woodstock locations, but flexibility to work at other locations is a desired qualification.
  • Excellent Computer Skills Required
  • Must be Punctual & Dependable
  • Must be able to multi-task, & work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a Team Player & Possess Strong Communication/Leadership Skills
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills
  • EMR/EHR Experience Required (Epic EHR Experience Preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Vital Signs
  • Urinalysis
  • Prepare & Administer vaccinations
  • Prepare & Administer IM & Subcutaneous Injections
  • Body Analysis
  • POCT (Point Of Care Testing)
  • Nasopharyngeal Swabs (Influenza Screens, COVID-19 Screens, RSV & other Viruses and Bacteria)
  • Strep Screens and Throat Cultures
  • Ear Irrigations
  • Nebulizer Treatments
  • Hearing/Vision Testing
  • Exam/Treatment Room Preparation
  • Assisting provider with examinations & routine procedures
  • Physicals / Well Child Exams; Obtaining age-appropriate vital signs & growth metrics
  • Knowledge of GRITS (GA Immunization Registry) & VFC (Vaccines For Children)
  • Minor Surgical Procedures with Instrument/Equipment Sterilization
  • Drug Screens
