The LPN – Residential role is focused on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and providing guidance to staff. You’ll ensure quality healthcare, train staff on care plans, verify physician orders, provide updated medical protocols, and support the Lead LPN and medical assistants. This is not a traditional bedside nursing role. Instead, it requires strong organizational, training, and supervisory skills. This role is best suited for an experienced LPN who is confident in their career, comfortable operating in a structured environment, and skilled at managing workplace dynamics with professionalism and discretion. Candidates who prefer autonomy, frequent clinical skill utilization, or minimal oversight may find this role challenging.
