About The Position
St. Christopher's Addiction Wellness Center is a substance abuse, medication assisted detox facility in need of a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse. Previous substance abuse or mental health experience preferred, but not required. Approximately 1 to 2 12-hour shifts per week. Must be able to pass acceptable drug screen and background check.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to pass acceptable drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous substance abuse or mental health experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administration of medications as prescribed
- Charts appropriately and timely with EMR system
- Takes and records vital signs
- Monitors patients for changes in medical condition
- Obtain and process patient laboratory specimens
- Process new admissions
