About The Position
Adult Family Health Services, a behavioral health clinic in Clifton, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with mental health experience to administer intramuscular (IM) medications and psychotropic injections. This is a part-time nursing position offering approximately 4–5 hours per week during morning to early afternoon hours. There may also be an opportunity for additional late afternoon to evening hours depending on clinic needs. This position is ideal for a nurse seeking flexible, part-time hours in a behavioral health setting.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license
- Experience in mental health or psychiatric settings
- Experience administering IM and psychotropic medications
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Administer IM medications and psychotropic injections
- Monitor patients for medication response and possible adverse effects
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the behavioral health treatment team
