About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a clinical setting under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will support daily nursing activities, ensure patient comfort, and assist with routine clinical tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an LPN
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Maine (ME) LPN License or Multistate License (required at submission)
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
- Strong patient care and observational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and monitor patient health status
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort
- Record vital signs and report changes to the care team
- Administer medications as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support physicians and registered nurses during patient care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
