About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, focusing on delivering essential nursing care, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting routine clinical operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an LPN
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Vermont (VT) LPN License or Multistate License (required at submission)
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
- Strong patient care and observational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail in documentation and care delivery
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver basic nursing care and monitor patient conditions
- Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure comfort
- Record vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications as directed by physicians or RNs
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support clinical staff during patient care activities
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
