About The Position
A long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night-shift contract assignment. The LPN will provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment and assist with resident needs to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license
- BLS certification required
- Recent nursing home / long-term care experience required
- Ability to assist with CNA responsibilities when necessary
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the care team
- Assist with CNA duties as needed , including basic patient care and mobility support
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state regulations
