About The Position

BJC/Saint Luke’s Health Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on delivering high-quality professional nursing care within an outpatient cardiovascular setting.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in both Missouri and Kansas (or multistage/compact equivalent).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong professional demeanor, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical screenings for walk-in patients and manage telephone screenings using established protocols.
• Assist with biopsies, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, and diabetic nail care.
• Provide essential instruction on medications and injection techniques.
• Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) based on competency and scope of practice
• Provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as required.
• Maintain clinic standards and practices to ensure superior patient outcomes.
