About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent/Account Manager to join a growing insurance agency. This is a temp-to-hire, part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal and small commercial lines, a proactive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional client service. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the agency.

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines and small commercial lines.
Familiarity with Erie and Progressive insurance products is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a growing agency.
Experience with various agency management systems is a plus.
Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) with potential for full-time in the future.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to clients by handling personal and small commercial lines accounts (70% personal, 30% small commercial).
Respond to inbound calls and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist with quoting new and renewal business.
Support the agency in implementing a new agency management system.
Collaborate with the agency owner to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Engage in sales activities to contribute to the agency's growth (not required but preferred).
