About The Position
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent to join a team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an existing book of business with a variety of accounts, including both personal and commercial lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, family-oriented office environment. Compensation Package Base Salary: Up to $90,000–$100,000 (dependent on experience) Commission: Competitive commission structure Bonus: Yearly profit-sharing bonus Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an independent agency (5+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in AMS360 software
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Customer-focused mindset
- Candidates must be willing to work in the office full-time
Responsibilities
- Manage an existing book of business, handling both personal and commercial accounts
- Handle inbound leads and provide exceptional customer service
- Quote new and renewal business for both personal and commercial lines
- Work with small to middle-market accounts, including habitational, contractors, and other industries
- Manage accounts ranging from standard to surplus lines, with premiums varying from a few hundred dollars to over $100,000
- Utilize AMS360 software to manage accounts and streamline processes
