The Licensed Mental Health Therapist works in an intensive outpatient program practicing dialectical behavior therapy and serving suicidal youth and their families.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of post-graduate school mental health experience working with children and families
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work from an accredited school of Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work
  • Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Provide leadership
  • Be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFT) – CA or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - CA

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years or more of post-graduate school mental health experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting
  • Previous LPS designation
  • Experience with Department of Mental Health documentation
  • Bilingual
  • Spanish speaking
