As a Counselor, you will oversee all aspects of a patient’s treatment journey — from admission through discharge and follow-up. You’ll provide comprehensive psychological therapy and substance abuse counseling while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

Master’s Degree
Independently licensed in Kentucky (LPP, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LCADC, LPAT)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in substance abuse, mental health, or related field

Responsibilities

Assess counseling needs and diagnose substance use disorders using DSM criteria
Determine appropriate levels of care using ASAM criteria
Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Coordinate care with referral sources (legal, school, employer, etc.)
Develop discharge and continuum-of-care plans
Participate actively in clinical meetings and performance improvement
Maintain documentation, case management, and utilization review responsibilities
Support crisis intervention using a team-based approach
