Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in substance use treatment, mental health counseling, or related field.
  • Licensure or certification as required by Indiana state regulations.
  • Credentialing under DMHA as one of the following: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, Psychologist, Physician, APRN Or nationally recognized addiction counseling credentials (e.g., LAC, CADAC II-V, ICACI, ICACII, NCAC I/II, MAC, LSW )

Responsibilities

  • Conduct substance abuse assessments using DSM and ASAM criteria.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all services, assessments, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and participate in clinical meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
