About The Position

The position of LIbrary Manager is a part-time 12-month per year position. A work week of 8-12 hours is required. The normal work hours are arranged between 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, though there may be occasion for a few weekend hours and extra hours to be applied to functions involving commencement and graduation events. Ideally, work hours should consider the individual and unique needs of the student body.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a related degree and relevant expertise in library/information sciences

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge of key trends in library science
• The ability to evaluate emerging technologies in library science relevant to student body uses and needs
• Superb written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
