Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping spaces safe, functional, and welcoming? The Library is looking for a skilled and proactive Library Maintenance Coordinator to help ensure our buildings run smoothly every day. In this role, you'll work closely with the Library Facilities Coordinator (LFC), stepping in as a lead when they're away and helping manage a wide range of facility operations. From coordinating daily work orders and responding to emergencies, to planning and performing repairs and renovations, you'll be at the heart of keeping our libraries in top shape. You'll take the lead on expert-level repairs and collaborate across disciplines - mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, and more. You'll also partner with Library IT on security and fire systems, and ensure all locations are safe, accessible, and welcoming through regular site visits and inspections. This is a dynamic, people-facing role where you'll engage with staff and the public, communicate priorities clearly, and help create spaces that reflect our values of equity, comfort, and community.
