As the library’s primary point of contact, User Services aims to build users’ library literacy by educating them on available resources, explaining library policy, connecting them to resources, answering questions, and resolving issues.User Services provides quality customer service through consistent staff presence, acknowledgement of users, use of standardized language for library terminology, and efficient problem resolution. Users can come to User Services for assistance at any part of the access and retrieval process of the SDSU collections, from borrowing material to locating mis-shelved books to acquiring material from other libraries.
