About The Position

The Liability Claims Adjuster – Homeowners is responsible for handling a caseload of homeowners general liability claims, including bodily injury and litigated matters. The position focuses on thorough investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims while ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience handling homeowners liability claims is preferred
• Strong experience with bodily injury claims; litigation exposure is a plus
• Ability to manage a focused caseload independently in a part-time capacity
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of approximately 7–15 claims at any given time
• Handle homeowners general liability claims, including slip and falls, dog bites, delivery driver incidents, and pool-related accidents
• Investigate claims by reviewing coverage, liability, damages, and exposure
• Manage bodily injury claims and assist with litigated matters as needed
• Communicate effectively with claimants, insureds, attorneys, and other involved parties
• Document claim activity accurately and maintain organized claim files
• Ensure timely and compliant claim handling in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
