PDS Optical is seeking a Lens Clerk who enjoys hands-on technical work, thrives in a production environment, and values accuracy and consistency. As a Lens Clerk, the individual will be responsible for pulling the proper lenses according to the RX and material selected by the customer for each order received.

Responsibilities

Read work ticket to determine which optical lenses are needed.
Fold the paperwork for each tray and sort into lens categories.
Locate and pull the proper lenses and place them in optical tray.
Enter breakage or recalculate orders into Labzilla as needed.
Proper tray scan in and out of your area.
Must learn and retain knowledge for lens types, sizes, colors, etc.
Maintain proper inventory and order lenses for stock and individual tray orders.
Check all orders upon delivery, check SKU numbers on the lens boxes and restock Lektriever.
Scan the lenses into the appropriate areas of the lab using the correct code for the tray tracking, watching carefully to make sure that all the trays are scanned.
Use Scan and Verify verification system in every job to ensure the proper frames and lenses are in the correct tray before the jobs are moved into the lab.
