About The Position

As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients, and contributing to our continued success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent secretarial experience required.
  • Knowledge of California court filing/e-filing procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional yet outgoing personality

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, or Personal Injury background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, and/or process legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, agreements, correspondence, and forms
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
  • Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
  • File legal documents timely and accurately with California courts using e-filing procedures
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
