About The Position

The Legal Order Processor will be responsible for reviewing and processing garnishments, levies, and subpoenas. This role will work closely with legal counsel to ensure all legal documents are being processed correctly.

Requirements

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature.
Keen eye for details
Ability to handle pressure due to deadline restraints
Must have excellent multi-tasking capabilities
Must have the ability to prioritize workflow

Responsibilities

Research and processing of garnishments, levies, and subpoenas.
Work with legal counsel to process served orders.
Process manual monthly and daily service charges.
Process forced account closures.
Submit monthly interest on lawyer trust accounts to applicable states.
Answer account verification requests.
Answer and assist branches regarding processing exceptions and other deposit related questions.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
