About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Operations Specialist to support the strategic and operational functions of our Legal Department. This role is ideal for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in legal operations, law firm administration, or corporate legal support with a strong preference for a candidate who has experience in contract administration and/or working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or Contract Management Systems (CMS). The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving efficiency and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Counsel, the Legal Operations Specialist will play a key role in managing vendor relationships, overseeing legal budgets and spend, implementing best practices, and supporting the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle, including intake, coordination, execution, tracking, and maintenance within a CLM or CMS. This role will also support the Legal department’s broader strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to learn new software to support the operations of the legal department
  • Self-motivated, independently able to solve problems and meet deadlines
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in law firm administration or corporate legal support
  • Experience in contract administration and/or working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or Contract Management Systems (CMS)
