About The Position

We are looking for a Legal Operations Analyst to join the Allstate Protection Plans’ Legal Team. In this role, you will work cross-functionally on a diverse range of legal and compliance projects while leveraging cutting-edge AI and automation technology to drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and streamline processes. You will collaborate across teams, gain a deep understanding of SquareTrade’s operations, and play a key role in improving existing workflows through innovative, tech-driven solutions. This is a hybrid position with a 2 day per week in-office expectation. WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THIS ROLE? You’ll obtain hands-on experience in the corporate legal and compliance fields. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, working closely with multiple departments to drive projects that directly impact our customers’ claims experience. You won’t be just “taking orders”, you’ll be encouraged to gain a deep understanding of our business and bring your own ideas to the table. You’ll get a taste of everything from regulatory compliance, litigation and employment to marketing and operations, with a fantastic support team to cheer you on. With lots of variety in day-to-day tasks and long-term projects, you won’t get bored!

  • Driven to make an impact on the business: you have a “can-do/will-do” attitude and you’re willing to think outside the box.
  • Ambitious: no one needs to push you to excel; you’ll go above and beyond to get results (and you’re able to motivate others to do the same!).
  • You’ll get your hands dirty: you not only bring the knowledge and experiences you have to this role, but you’re not afraid to jump in and assist the Legal team wherever necessary in areas that are unfamiliar to you.
  • You’re unfailingly discreet and able to take care of confidential and often highly sensitive information with the utmost care
  • You’re comfortable working with co-workers at all levels, including senior management.
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to have fun-we like well-rounded people working at Allstate Protection Plans.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Should demonstrate high levels of integrity, be passionate, persistent, and a team player.
  • Comfortable working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Superior listening skills and strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and creatively with little or no supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, Docusign, MS 365, Power Automate and/or Agility is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional departments and executives on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Escalated Complaints Management: Perform thorough investigations into customer complaints raised by regulators to determine the company’s response and to coordinate resolutions with the customer.
  • Corporate Governance: Assist in maintaining our active entities, registered agents and business registrations/licenses. You’ll also assist in drafting certain corporate documents for execution.

  • Administrative Support: General administrative duties such as reviewing mail, coordinating DocuSign requests, managing a number of email aliases, invoice processing, and maintaining legal files.
