JOB SUMMARY: Work with Broncos legal department handling various internal legal functions for the Denver Broncos Football Club and Empower Field at Mile High. DURATION: This internship will run for 10 weeks from approximately late May - early August 2026. Exact dates to be confirmed prior to start.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Completion of first year of law school at an accredited law school with the intent to return for second year
- Good academic standing in law school
- Self-motivated and solutions oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to occasionally work hours outside of normal business hours with little or no advance notice
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment at a Colorado-based law school (University of Colorado Law School; University of Denver Sturm College of Law).
- Superior academic record
- Prior office work experience
- Prior sports and/or entertainment work experience and a demonstrated strong interest in the sports and entertainment industry
Responsibilities
- Assist legal department in reviewing and negotiating revenue and expense contracts for the organization
- Help design and execute sweepstakes and contests in coordination with legal and business teams
- Develop processes, policies and procedures around contracts and templates
- Assist legal department with strategic organizational initiatives, including negotiating agreements, developing policies and procedures and participating in strategy sessions
- Work closely with Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel to participate in internal and external strategic development priorities
- Support legal department and other business stakeholders in the development and execution of consumer data privacy policies and practices
- Completing additional duties assigned; including opportunities to participate in internal and external calls on strategic priorities and interact with outside counsel
