Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our legal team in managing personal injury claims and related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for opening and organizing new claims, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication with insurance companies and other stakeholders. Monthly compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD Schedule: M-F 08:30AM-05:30PM PST

Requirements

• Prior experience in a legal or administrative support role is preferred in physical injury
• Familiarity with personal injury claims and insurance processes is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using case management systems and office software.
• Languages: English, Spanish

Responsibilities

• Request and track balances, total charges, and billing statements from medical providers.
• Prepare and send Letters of Representation (LORs) to insurance carriers.
• Ensure all documentation is organized, accurate, and compliant with internal standards.
• Communicate with insurance companies’ subrogation departments regarding case details and documentation.
• Upload documents and maintain updated files within the Case Management System (CMS).
• Set up new files within our internal systems and maintain accurate digital records
• Open new claims and ensure all relevant case information is properly documented.
• Conduct monthly follow‑ups with medical providers to obtain charges, balances, and updated records.
