Job Description: Job Duck is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support a fast‑growing immigration law practice. In this role, you will play a critical part in preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and ensuring attorneys have accurate and complete materials for review. Your daily work will directly impact client experiences by helping maintain smooth operations, clear documentation, and timely communication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, values accuracy, and enjoys supporting legal professionals behind the scenes. Candidates who are organized, communicative, and eager to learn will find strong opportunities for growth in this position. • Salary Range: 1150 USD to 1220 USD

Requirements

  • Full‑time, remote position
  • Timezone alignment required with PST
  • Practice area focused on immigration law
  • Spanish proficiency is required; Farsi proficiency is a strong plus
  • Role involves minimal phone work, with limited client call volume
  • Opportunity to grow into additional support functions as the team expands

Responsibilities

  • Complete and review immigration‑related forms
  • Collect and file client documents accurately
  • Update standard operating procedures and document workflows
