About The Position

Verrill is actively reviewing resumes for a Legal Assistant position in our Portland, Maine Office. As one of New England’s top full-service law firms, we are interested in hiring talented individuals to join our team. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting attorneys in our Business Law Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with relevant legal and/or professional experience. The successful candidate will produce high quality work in a timely and professional manner, while providing exceptional client service and team support. The ideal applicant will have impeccable attention to detail, strong organization skills, advanced computer skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel), and a general knowledge of both state and federal court processes and procedures. Applicants should have proven project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks successfully, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
