The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys and paralegals in providing administrative support, research, and follow up with clients, experts, and firm staff. What does the role look like: Prepares draft letters and completes forms. Reviews medical records and other confidential information. Files documents with other agencies and providers. Communicates with clients, attorneys, subject matter experts. Follows up and drives the pre-legal document process to ensure timeliness. Follows up and drives the bill review processes to ensure accuracy. Respond to emails and phone calls, contact insurance and medical offices, and inform the team of deadlines. Follow up with expert witnesses, clients, medical professionals, and vendors. Experience in use of legal software, case management, and docketing programs. Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have strong organizational, follow-up, detail orientation, and communication skills.
