LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE ANALYST, LITIGATION RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in-house and outside attorneys with all facets of managing litigation, including employment, personal injury, commercial and business litigation, and consumer complaints Perform e-discovery searches and document reviews Process litigation holds, track case status, and calendar deadlines Draft responses and gather documents in response to subpoenas, demand letters, and personnel file requests Assist with preparing responses to claims, demand letters, agency charges, and litigation requests Assist with witness interviews and depositions Handle small matters such as domestic and international consumer small claims matters, wage claims, and debt collection Assist the legal team with general tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal analyst in a law firm or corporate in-house legal department

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Paralegal certification
  • Experience in document collection and electronic discovery, fact-finding and reporting, and case management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented, and a strong capacity to analyze and communicate effectively
  • Experience with employment law, personal injury law, and/or consumer law
  • Experience assisting in-house and/or outside attorneys in arbitration or trial
  • Litigation paralegal experience in an elite law firm or in-house legal department for a rapidly growing technology company, mature private company, or public company
  • Experience managing and reporting information across a variety of matters and communicating effectively in writing and verbally at all levels of the company

Responsibilities
