About The Position

Supports the radiologic technology program's effectiveness and continuous improvement, assists with accreditation and assessment processes, and ensures compliance with Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) standards. Coordinates student clinical experiences, fostering learning, engagement, and professional development to prepare graduates for success in the radiologic sciences. Supports daily program operations and assist in ongoing program evaluation and development. Coordinates student clinical experiences, including communication with affiliate sites and monitoring student progress. Maintains compliance with JRCERT standards and accreditation requirements. Plans, organizes, and delivers classroom and clinical instruction that promotes student learning and success. Provides timely feedback and communicate effectively with students, faculty, and clinical partners. Promotes best practices in radiologic science education and clinical training. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
  • At least a bachelor's degree
  • Three or more years clinical experience in radiography
  • One year of experience as an instructor in a radiologic technology program
  • Experience in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and academic advising
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in education or a health-related field.
  • Two years of experience as an instructor in a radiology technology program.
  • Experience coordinating a radiologic technology or other health-related program.
