About The Position

Barnard College’s Economics Department invites applicants for a full-time Lecturer position specializing in Financial Economics to begin on July 1, 2026. Requirements

  • Completion of PhD before the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Strong interest and record in teaching financial economics, financial accounting, and money and banking.
  • Familiarity with current state of research and recent pedagogical innovations in these fields, and interest in contributing to the latter.
  • Demonstration of appreciation for the liberal arts environment, including toward advising, mentoring, and teaching.
