Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for a Lecturer of Kinesiology to begin Fall 2026 . Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate courses (15 semester credit hours per semester) in weight training, aerobic activities, physical education/coaching, exercise science, and fitness/health. Candidates must be able to deliver content in various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with availability for morning, evening, and/or weekend classes. Duties also include provide service to the university, the college, and the community. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. The Department of Health Sciences is housed within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and offers bachelor's degrees in: Kinesiology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, and Public Health.
