About The Position

The Kinesiology Department in the College of Communication and Education is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Requirements

• The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Bachelor’s Degree for physical activity courses (100 level) and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field for all other courses.
• Note: some 100-level courses (e.g., yoga) may require additional certification.

Responsibilities

• Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching undergraduate courses.
• Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
