About The Position

Minimum Qualifications MS in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a closely related field. Five (5) years of Relevant industry experience in construction or project management. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in a closely related discipline. Professional licensure (e.g., PE) or industry certifications. Five (5) years of Full-time industry experience and decision-making responsibilities in the construction industry. Prior teaching experience in construction engineering or management topics. A demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary education across civil engineering, construction engineering, and engineering management. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures . Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
