The UW-River Falls College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) maintains a pool of qualified candidates from which part-time staff may be drawn to fill vacancies on a temporary basis in various departments and disciplines. Successful applicants become members of a pool of temporary instructional academic staff eligible to teach, based upon the needs of the department, funding and availability of the prospective staff member. Lecturers may be hired in the following areas: Art Biology Chemistry & Biotechnology Communication & Media Studies (Communication Studies, Journalism, Marketing Communications) Computer, Information and Data Sciences English (English, ESL, TESOL) History and Philosophy Mathematics Modern Language (Spanish, German, Japanese) Music & Stage and Screen Arts Physics Politics, Geography, and International Studies Psychological Sciences Sociology, Criminology and Anthropology
