This role is ideal for a strong sales performer who is equally comfortable building rapport, closing deals, and navigating the unique requirements of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 8, etc.).

Requirements

• Proven sales ability (leasing, real estate, retail, or similar high-performance sales roles)
• Strong closing skills and a goal-oriented mindset
• Experience with or knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8) preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and compliance accuracy
• Ability to thrive underpressure and consistently meet or exceed targets
• Tech-savvy (CRM/property management software experience a plus)

Responsibilities

• Drive leasing performance by converting leads into qualified residents
• Conduct engaging property tours and deliver compelling sales presentations
• Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline through follow-ups, outreach, and referrals
• Ensure full compliance with affordable housing regulations and documentation
• Process applications, verifications, and certifications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain high occupancy levels and minimize vacancy loss
• Provide exceptional customer service to prospects and residents
• Collaborate with property management to optimize leasing strategies and marketing efforts
