About The Position

Discovery Capital is looking to hire a full-time Leasing Representative for our commercial spaces. You will focus heavily on leasing activities with new tenants/businesses as well as working with current lease renewals. The leasing office is open Mon-Fri from 9am-6pm; Sat 9am-6pm, occasional Sundays. The scheduled hours will vary between business hours, open availability needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with customer service and sales or retail.
  • Able to work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm
  • Able to participate in Saturday schedule rotation.
  • Outgoing and extroverted personality
  • Competitive, and self-motivated!
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire lease signing process from lead to signed lease.
  • Develops relationships with potential tenants practicing a consultative sales approach.
  • Takes charge of follow-up process for all prospects and successfully determines next-steps depending on stage of process.
  • Qualifies prospective tenants and processes applications for approvals (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.).
  • Assists with outreach marketing activities to drive prospective tenant traffic.
  • Assists with market surveys by shopping competition.
  • Ensures all paperwork, documents, signatures and deposits are collected from tenant before approving move-in.
  • Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices, creating a sense of urgency to re-sign lease.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by listening to all tenant requests, concerns and complaints.
  • Answer any tenant questions about community, repairs, rules, etc.
