About The Position

As the Leasing Manager, you are a team builder and leader who provides support, mentorship and direction to ensure high level of employee and resident engagement. You are responsible for meeting the asset performance expectations by achieving occupancy and reputation management goals. You accomplish these goals through creating the greatest possible living experience and well-being of all individuals associated with the community - both team members and residents. Leadership & Customer Experience: • Creates and maintains a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all team members at the community. • Selects, hires, trains, coaches, and develops leasing team members with focus on Care, Excellence, Ownership, and Integrity. • Establishes a learning culture and maintains a strong connection of the leasing team to GHP. • Leads by example and ensures a proactive approach to Service Excellence is adopted for key leasing touch points (phone experience, leasing, move-in, etc.) • Efficiently handles resident requests and concerns. Empowers employees to solve problems and achieve goals through immediate resolution and follow-up. Financial Performance & Operations: • Demonstrates strong leasing performance through consistently meeting weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual leasing goals and delivering exceptional client experience. • Oversees and executes on the leasing and marketing plan for the assigned community. • Regularly audits property onsite files to ensure compliance with GHP policies & procedures and fair housing laws & regulations. • Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the competitive residential markets by conducting regular market analysis and assisting in the development of the leasing & pricing strategies. • Assists with the oversight of all reputation management activities including Yelp, Apartment Rating, Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms. • Creates an outreach and networking strategy to generate leads within the local market. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing a leasing team at the community of 500+ units or more
  • 2+ years’ experience using industry software such as Pop Card, Yardi or equivalent Property Management software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge Fair Housing requirements

  • Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community.
  • Constantly operates computer and other office machinery.
  • Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift.
  • Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance.
  • Constantly communicate, converse and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents and visitors.
